Best Piano Apps for 2021

Best Piano Apps for 2021

Use Apps to Customize Your Piano Playing with Ease!

Plan to learn a musical instrument? There are multiple reasons why you should choose piano. According to studies, playing the piano reduces stress and anxiety, improves hand-eye coordination, and even boosts self-esteem. Apart from these benefits, during the Covid-19 pandemic, playing your favorite songs on the piano can be soothing.
With the aid of technology, the ways of learning, teaching, and playing the piano are no longer limited. Piano teachers and students can choose to use a variety of piano apps according to their individual needs. Search for the word “piano” in your App Store or Google Play Store, and then you will be shocked at how many options there are.
But which ones are the most recommended piano apps? Keep reading, and you will find the answers.

Violy

No matter what you need to do with a piano app, almost all your needs can be satisfied when you use Violy App.

Teach Piano Lessons Virtually

Due to the quarantine, many piano classes were brought online. For piano teachers, it can be annoying to tolerate the unsatisfactory audio quality for the instrument during remote classes. But with Violy App, the unpleasant moment can be entirely avoided.
In Violy’s “Students” page, piano teachers are allowed to set up their own virtual music classroom. In this page, piano teachers can use “Live Class”, the video call feature, to call their piano students directly and conduct remote piano lessons. The specially optimized, high-definition audio and video transmission makes it possible for all participants of the classes to hear each single layer no matter how complicated the chords or ensembles are.

A smart timetable is necessary for piano teachers who have a large number of students, and Violy’s “Classroom” feature can play the role. With this feature, the teachers are able to schedule each piano class and get every participant notified automatically, which helps relieve the music educators from the repetitive work of reminding every piano student of the time for classes.
Considering the current situation of the pandemic, remote music teaching may be the norm for a long time to come. As a smart music classroom, Violy links music teachers and students together, and contributes to better development of online music education.

A Piano App Tailor-made for All Piano Students

Piano playing requires complicated and asymmetrical motions of both hands. Since about 90% of people are right-handed, for most piano beginners, training the left hand separately can be hard. Besides, piano teachers are not likely to follow up the students’ practice 24/7, but students need instant feedback to help them improve.
Thanks to Violy, the problems mentioned above can be easily solved.
The “Smart Audition” feature statistically analyzes each piano student’s playing and witnesses every sign of progress. The players can choose to be auditioned on one hand or both hands. For those who are eager to practice left hand skills, this feature is a great help.
https://reddit.com/link/lengcm/video/c8npke3uh0g61/player
A “Smart Audition” can be initiated by playing “C♯4 D♯4 F♯4” on the piano. Under the audition mode, the users’ performing is tracked and recorded. After playing, users can receive an in-depth analysis report presenting the overall score, the score for rhythm, notes which are misplayed and missed, etc.. What’s more, both teachers and students are allowed to review their piano practice homework anytime and anywhere.
When it comes to a piano app, most piano students are likely to have expectations for the piano music included. As for Violy, its sheet music library “Music Cloud” can surprise you.
https://preview.redd.it/epchme1ei0g61.png?width=1013&format=png&auto=webp&s=62daf948ba23a20fd75264a51822a2aaf9168146
Pianists at all levels can find the pieces they like in “Music Cloud”. With a large piano repertoire covering various categories, “Music Cloud” empowers you to listen to and play thousands of piano pieces at any tempo and volume. You can also annotate the sheet music.
If you fail to find the sheet music you need, just visit the “Creator Studio” and you can upload the music scores to the app by yourself.
Violy is available on both iOS and Android mobile devices. The app is FREE for all music teachers, and each new user can receive a FREE 7-day premium gift.

Piano Maestro

If you are a piano beginner who need a piano app to help you learn while having fun, Piano Maestro is definitely your cup of tea. Like Simply Piano, this app is also developed by JoyTunes.

Gamification of Piano Learning

Most young piano learners are not self-motivated in their daily practice. They need incentives to keep them focused and moving forward. In this case, incorporating games into the process of learning can be effective.
Under Piano Maestro’s “Journey” mode, fun game tasks and piano learning are perfectly combined. This mode makes it possible for you to move on chapter by chapter, unlock new songs, and raise the difficulty level along the way. It helps you learn to play the songs step by step, and have access to more practice options. Besides, your learning experience can be personalized.
https://preview.redd.it/tg6mvd80k0g61.png?width=1780&format=png&auto=webp&s=919ae1778d92e5e98fc76dd54f322d230068480b
In the app’s “Library” section, piano songs of different genres and levels, piano exercises covering all skills and hand options, and the most well-known method books are all selectable. What’s more, JoyTunes has collected and continues to add current hits to the “Library”. The lure of your favorite songs and the carefully sequenced selection of exercises can stimulate you to keep playing and improving your skills.

Play Bite-Sized Chunks of Piano Sheet Music and Master the Whole Piece

Goals cannot be reached in one step. For piano players, it always takes some time to completely master a new piece. With Piano Maestro, the efficiency of the process can be enhanced.
Before playing the whole song, learning comes first since you need to get familiar with the sheet music. Each song is divided into small sections under “Learn” mode in Piano Maestro. The mode just requires you to play the bite-sized chunks one by one. Every music note being played will be checked. Once there is a misplayed note, the cursor will pause until the note is corrected.
https://preview.redd.it/vdx12wvhk0g61.png?width=1780&format=png&auto=webp&s=35f8e56b738a0247390b40103d943be92313745c
When you are ready for the complete song, you can choose “Play” mode. Under this mode, you are able to play along with the backing tracks at the tempo you set, and receive a final score after the playing ends. Using the two modes interchangeably makes it easier for you to master the whole piece.
If you do not have your acoustic piano at hand, “touch piano” is also supported on Piano Maestro. Just tap the screen to play a virtual piano keyboard then.
Piano Maestro is only available on iOS mobile devices. Gamers who decide to learn piano from scratch will not want to miss this one.

Many young learners tend to start from piano when they decide to pick up a musical instrument. According to professor Wing Ho from Central Conservatory of Music, learning the piano for 2 or 3 years before selecting another instrument can be the optimal choice for the children. Every musician may benefit from the experience of playing the piano.
The challenges posed by the pandemic still remain. With the help of the piano apps, online music education can progress more smoothly during the tough time. But piano apps can never replace real piano teachers. What they can do are strengthening the connection between the piano teachers and the students, providing each user with better experience, and encouraging piano players to love music and their life more.

Have a HAPPY practice!!

How I went from zero knowledge of German to passing Goethe B2 in 1 year

Evening folks,
I'm pleased to share with you that I've passed my Goethe Zertifikat B2 with the following marks;
Lesen- 83/100
Hören- 76/100
Schreiben- 89/100
Sprechen- 88/100
I'd like to share how I got from speaking/understanding zero German in October 2019 to scoring relatively high marks in my B2 exam this October. The path wasn't the easiest, to say the least.
It started out with me deciding to try German out for a couple of months- I was keen to see if I would enjoy learning it, even more so without a tutor- the first time I would teach myself a language in that manner. So I bought the DaF Kompakt Neu Kursbuch and Arbeitsbuch from Amazon (it would bring me to a B1 level) and spent an hour or 2 every night going through each chapter (29 in total), doing all the exercises, learning all the grammatical points, vocabulary and pronunciation and what not. The vocabulary was evidently the most daunting part since there aren't as many German words which are cognates with English as well as French/Dutch (I speak the latter 2 fluently); grammar was somewhat easier than I'd expected because Dutch and German grammar share a huge degree of similarity; listening and pronunciation was basically me listening to the books' CDs and repeating the word spelt out. All in all, I reached A1 by end-November and A2 by end-December. I do think the A1/A2 levels are relatively easy- they're the basics- it's the B levels which you need to spend time on.
The B1 journey got a little harder. More unfamiliar words, sentence structures and grammatical points got thrown at me. It involved me looking up each point on the internet, making sense of what it meant and when I should use it; and sometimes me going back to A1/A2 content to make sure I'd grasped them completely. That was also when I began delving into native content- listening to Deutschlandfunk/BWDNDORF/SRF radio stations and reading news articles from SZ/Der Spiegel and even websites/Wikipedia articles of German cities and tourist attractions. It was a steep climb but still a pretty fruitful one- I could begin to feel my German getting better (even if it was halting and I didn't have the best grasp of vocabulary). That was a 2.5-month-long journey, ending in February (I had by then finished all 29 units of DaF Kompakt) and I still wasn't even sure if I was ready to start B2. But I decided I should, for it was pointless for me to limit at a particular level for a prolonged period. So I set aside my DaF Kompakt books and purchased Erkundungen B2 (not as user-friendly or interesting as DaF Kompakt..... But it was the cheapest textbook I could find on the market)
The B2 journey was the toughest part. I didn't understand many of the exercises in Erkundungen and had to refer to the answer key from time to time. Erkundungen did prove to be a solid revision tool for my gramamar, and that involved me staring at, memorising all the 4 cases, gender, declension, which prepositions to use for each case, etc.... Painful, especially when Dutch has a much more simplified system. Oh, and I found out the Germans use um....zu more sparingly compared to the relatively heavy usage of om....te in Dutch. And I trundled along the vocab (I've to confess I haven't fully internalised all the vocab from Erkundungen). All the while continuing my heavy usage of German-language media during my free-time (yes, a lot of Die Toten Hosen, Tagesschau, Biohackers and Gute Nacht Österreich). I even began reading Im Westen nichts Neues and Der Zauerberg. It took me around 4 months to get through Erkundungen B2 and by then I was considering trying out the Goethe Zertifikat B2 exam. That was in early June.
I continued revising all the grammar points and learning new words while searching for a tutor who could help prepare me for the B2 exam. I chanced upon a self-employed teacher from Leipzig (DM me for her contact details) who offered Zoom classes. I did a 45-minute Zoom class with her once a week, starting from June till late September, practising and improving my speaking skills (they were atrocious at the start!) as well as writing (it took me a long time to produce 2 texts as required in the exam, and with lots of grammatical errors to boot). I bought all the exam preparatory books I could find during my week-long trip to Stuttgart in June (and yes more novels)- all at Osiander in the Stadtzentrum, and upon my return to the UK did all the exercises and went through the speaking and writing ones with my tutor. My tutor was really patient and gave me a lot of opportunities to speak and discuss all the important points with me. I set up a weekly quota for myself- this was how it looked like-
1 writing exercise (Teil 1 and 2 combined) before each lesson, sending it to my tutor for correction and learning where I went wrong
Reading and annotating a few SZ articles each week, making sure I understood their content.
Slowly going through a few pages of a particular novel
Lots and lots of hours listening to the radio
Speaking exercise each session (this wasn't really fixed as on some sessions we would do Teil 1 (Vortrag) and Teil 2 (Diskussion) on others)
That was my routine for 4 good months. And then I decided to register for the Goethe Zertifikat B2 test in London in mid-October 2020 (i.e. last month). It was the first time Goethe Institut conducted the exams on a laptop. (QWERTZ keyboard anyone?)
I sailed through the Lesen and Hören parts. It was a bit challenging for the Schreiben part- dealing with "Werbung während Kinderprogramms" for Teil 1 and for Teil 2 a letter to request to lead a workshop in the workplace. I got lucky in the Sprechen part- "Fit Bleiben" for Teil 1- I had already practised that multiple times with my tutor so I knew what to say (I somehow managed to write a script for that within 10 minutes and had only 5 minutes to prepare for Teil 2). Teil 2 was about living in a Wohngemeinschaft and as I already lived in such an arrangement during my studies it wasn't too hard for me either. I've to admit I was lucky to get such easy topics for Sprechen- it could've been much harder! So I was done with the exam but I didn't know what marks I would get.
I waited for a good 4 weeks before being notified about my results. And it was a pleasant surprise! Especially for Schreiben!
That marked the completion of my German learning journey. Well, it's not really complete because I do hope to take the C1 exam someday- but that will involve a lot of hard work- understanding how Germans/Austrians/Swiss-Germans use their language on a daily basis. Something I've to admit will probably take years, especially since I don't live in a DACH country. And of course I'm reading German literature (I love Herman Böll's and Thomas Mann's stuff) and news and watching German series (Babylon Berlin and Biohackers anyone?)
So this being my journey, I've a few tips to offer-
  1. Stay exposed to German media! You'll learn in due time how the language is written and spoken by native speakers- what expressions they use and how they formulate sentences. I can't emphasise this enough!
  2. You don't need to go to a class or get private tutoring (I only engaged a tutor for exam preparation)- it's cheaper that way but you must be willing to figure out things- and have faith!
  3. Get a good book! And when I mean by a good book I mean a book by a publisher from the country of the target language which specialises in teaching the target language e.g Klett or Cornelsen or Schubert Verlag. Get a monolingual one if possible. I used DaF Kompakt Neu A1-B1 and Erkundungen B2.
  4. Immersion. As evidenced by points 1 and 3. It can't compensate for time spent in a DACH country but you can create your own environment! It's not too difficult to do so.
  5. Enjoy the process. Make it feel like the language is coming into you. No matter how long it takes. You'll eventually get there.
I do need to add a disclaimer- I mastered German relatively quickly given that I already speak/write Dutch fluently (obviously listening and reading as well), and Dutch is pretty close to German- so I'm not the best person to give an estimate of how long it would take to learn German from scratch- and it isn't the easiest of all languages. But I figure 1.5 years to 2 years would be a nice timeframe to reach a relatively advanced level. It always takes time so enjoy the learning process!

ALL weapons in phantom forces summarized by an idiot

time to sit here with my uncreative mind for about 20 minutes
AK12: low damage compensated by mega-burst mode. every lobby have one low rank running an R2 suppressor on this thing
AN94: Nikonov you got some 'splainin to do! 7.62 conversion makes this gun basically a better AK47
AS VAL: the ultimate sneaky deletion device - it deletes enemies, and also your ammo. also sneaky!
SCAR-L: a slower, more accurate L85A2. SOCOM soldiers been playing too much fortnite
AUG A1: low damage compensated by low recoil. however, unlike the AK12, it lacks (unfortunately) a mega-burst mode
M16A4: used to be good. still is good, if you have the patience to sit in a VIP server and practice bursting for 3 hours a day
G36: old but gold. and not even that old.
M16A3: the tryhard's gun. also the casual player's gun. also the "play for fun" gun. also the meta gun. reloads at the speed of light and does mediocre damage paired with high firerate.
AUG A2: some could call it a better MP5 when paired with a muzzle booster. above average stats for assault rifles and goes head-on-head with the newer K2 rifle.
K2: south korea tried to make their own M16. shoots NATO bullets that are capable of 3-shotting.
FAMAS F1: G2 conversion is completely useless now, with the arrival of the K7 weapon. a possible contender for the strongest close range assault rifle, perhaps even stronger than the AS VAL
AK47: has surprisingly low recoil once you get used to it. hollow point is broken as always.
AUG A3: i don't know how to describe copy paste guns. sorry
L85A2: perhaps a better SCAR-L (with slower reload). gotta love universal 4-shots
HK416: the tryhard's gun V2. some people run hollow point on it, some people run 300 blackout on it. both make it basically a worse AS VAL.
AK74: that weird 5.45*39R rifle that no one really talks about
AKM: the cooler '47
AK103: more AKs? cringe. not many people use this gun, and it's actually pretty good
TAR 21: the cooler HK416. statistically better in almost every way
Type 88-2: AK74 made in china
M231: accuracy doesn't matter, just get those bullets out there.
C7A2: the tryhard's gun V3
G11K2: i would like to speak to the person who thought this was a good idea to design
MP5K: baby MP5 with a useful 10mm conversion
UMP45: its just an assault rifle with no penetration
G36C: useless
MP7: budget vector. hollow points works really well with this weapon
MAC10: M231 but it fits in your pocket
P90: *rushing b*
MP5: this is everything you want from an SMG
Colt SMG: has a useless conversion. budget vector V2
L2A3: shoot slow, but VERY powerful. has a nice .45 ACP conversion to go along with it
MP5SD: this is everything you want from an SMG, but more
MP10: And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.
M3A1: don't you love slow shooting SMGs? me neither.
MP5/10: i honestly don't know why we would need more MP5s
Uzi: the cooler L2A3
AUG A3 Para: no recoil machine
K7: vector made in china. can somehow equip a loudener, despite being integrally suppressed. wonder what that would sound like
Krinkov: baby AK74
PPSH-41: so many people use it, despite it just being another P90
FAL Para Shorty: baby fal!
Kriss Vector: more used prebought than use unlocked. 9mm conversion is good, people
PP-19 Bizon: Oscar's "ammo box"
MP40: stop it with the slow SMGs, please
X95 SMG: i just don't know what to say about this anymore. the Tavor family was always pretty good.
Tommy Gun: two ways you can use this gun: like a normal SMG, or equip the M1919 conversion and melt enemies with some blazing hot 45 ACP. at least until you need to reload...
COLT LMG: take two M4A1s and tape them together.
M60: thankfully got nerfed, but still reopens previous PTSD scars when you get killed by one.
AUG HBAR: it was winning the race for best LMG until a nerf hit it hard, causing it to fall behind to second, and letting the SCAR HAMR win the race for first place.
MG36: 300 blackout conversion makes it kinda useful now
RPK12: combined with super AP, it becomes the most powerful assault rifle to ever exist. also features the AK12's mega-burst, which lets your dump magazines at silly high speeds
L86 LSW: the suppression machine, allowing you to get at least 1 suppression bonus per kill. otherwise just a slower, more powerful assault rifle. was made better recently with a nice .223 remington buff.
RPK: shooting this thing is like ASMR
HK21: the bullet hose. can be made more useful with muffler, but generally can only be used as a support gun with its low accuracy and bulkiness.
SCAR HAMR: all hail the king of machine guns!
RPK74: weird knockoff RPK, but it's actually very good
MG3KWS: the bullet hose V2: just a bad HK21
MG42: shoots so fast it can't even be used as a traditional LMG
Intervention: the TRG is arguably better with a recent buff
R700: the assault sniper
Dragunov SVU: budget SCAR SSR that specializes for very long range engagements
AWS: suppressed R700. its bad. don't use it
BFG50: the funny 1-shot meme pipe
AWM: overrated.
TRG-42: slow but reeks of 1-shot kill range. also has a 1-shot limb range
Mosin Nagant: 8mm makes it a rival to the R700 for the best CQC sniper
Dragunov SVDS: haha, spirals gun that no one else can use
K14: it looks like a plastic toy gun, but its very slow. Powerful, but the firing sound effect resembles a a cross between a cork popping out of a bottle and a balloon getting popped.
Hecate II: the funny french baguette cannon
M107: the funny semi auto BFG
Steyr Scout: i don't know why anyone would use this, other than tryharding. 5.56 conversion is a joke
WA2000: people wall it the "Wah two-kay". don't try to hide it, you're guilty of that as well
M4A1: M16A3 with a birth defect
G36K: a carbine that somehow has better close range capabilities than it's SMG variant
M4: M16A4 with a birth defect
L22: BABY L85A2
SCAR PDW: 7.62 conversion makes it incredibly powerful.
AKU12: has a nice little 9mm conversion that makes it one of the best SMGs in the game
Groza-1: scarily tight shot grouping, and has a 5.56 conversion that makes it just a better MP5. Way too underrated.
AK12C: i just don't see a reason to use this when the AKU12 already exists.
Honey Badger: doesn't taste like honey at all. also doesn't taste like badgers
K1A: the useless K-pop gun
SR3M: unsuppressed AS VAL.
Groza-4: its basically an AK12C with a suppressor.
MC51SD: powerful, but not powerful enough
Fal 50.63 Para: 45 ACP.
1858 Carbine: at this point i'm just lazy.
AK105: a small '103
Jury: 410 conversions, too powerful
KAC SRR: a more powerful VSS
K95R: again, Tavor family weapons are just generally good
HK51B: HK21 with more recoil
MK11: patience is key with this weapon. you click to fast, you shoot slower. 500 phantom turns it into a slightly more powerful VSS.
SKS: has a couple of VPO shotgun conversions...
SL8: no one talks about this gun, despite it being the easiest DMR to use. when macroed, its better than basically every assault rifle and battle rifle
VSS Vintorez: instead of forcing you to have trigger discipline, it instead punishes you for not having it.
MSG90: what can I say, but hey, you're useless!
Beowulf TCR: the definition of spam DMRs
SA58 SPR: semi auto FAL. hey, who wants to shoot pistol round from their DMR? 45 ACP conversion does!
SCAR SSR: POWER.
Beowulf ECR: an unsuppressed VSS
SCAR-H: can be used as a DMR when necessary, and still have enough ammo to spray down a couple enemies
AK12BR: bring back the 3 round burst, the 2 round burst sucks
G3: fun to use, but the AG3 is just better
AG3: g3 with an extra "A"
HK417: a bad SCAR-H
Henry 45-70: "lever action?!? i'm not gonna use tha-""it has a shotgun conversion."
FAL 50.00: good old FAL.
KSG12: equip a KSG25 barrel for 24 rounds. more than you'll ever need in your entire life
R870: good range, but has the biggest flaw of the shotguns: slow ROF
DBV12: your first experience on a semi-auto shotgun.
KS23M: hey who wants a shotgun carbine? yes, I rifled the barrel so it qualifies as a carbine!
Saiga 12: the SKS shotgun is better, sadly.
Stevens DB: if you see this, just run.
AA12: the only reason why this gun is so cancerous to fight against is because it has quick follow up shots. all the other shotgun's only weakness is the fact that if you miss, you are basically dead.
SPAS-12: yay! a balanced shotgun! oh. its rank 120 unlock
M9: pasta gun
G17: i hate the iron sights, so the M9 is automatically better
M1911: the M9 for the patient man
Desert Eagle L5: best muzzle velocity in-class. extended barrel makes it the definition of a pocket DMR
M45A1: the cooler 1911
Five-seveN: shoots 5.7 rounds. funny.
Zip 22: if you use this, I declare you to be a legend. but also, why would you do that
GB22: has the most conversions of all the pistols
Desert Eagle XIX: unbox starter 1 cases until you get the gold skin
G18: glocks are bad. totally not a personal hunch
93R: with raffica stock and muzzle brake, you now have a low-recoil 1100 RPM 3 shot machine with 20 rounds. that's more than enough to kill anyone
TEC-9: funny swedish meatball machine gun
Micro Uzi: Baby Uzi that acts nothing like an uzi
Scorpion vz. 61: no recoil deletion machine
MP1911: mutant 1911 that can somehow only fit 15 rounds, despite the magazine being a mile long.

Executioner: it's name fits the bill.
serbu shotgun: the only fair shotgun, because its a secondary
SFG50: RNG trickshot cannon
M79 thumper: thankfully it doesn't shoot grenades. unfortunately, it doesn't shoot grenades
sawed off: pair this with the Stevens DB to become the full-on overkill machine

balancing gaming and production in first build?

Hi all. I got confirmation that I should expect payment for a few freelance projects before the end of the month, so it seems like it's time to lock down my parts list for my ~first build. I'd like to have consistently high performance with standard Photoshop/Illustrator work, simpler video projects, less complex games at their best settings, and AAA games at decent settings. I'm also interested in exploring animation, VFX, and 3D projects, but they are not a staple of my creative work now and I don't expect that to change, so it's okay if my performance isn't perfect for those tasks.
From what I've read, it appears that production and games prioritize different parts of the computer, so to do both at a high level I may need to go relatively hard on everything. I'm willing to spend a bit more, especially since I'm going back to school in the fall to do design/production work and would prefer not to rehaul the computer, but will use it mostly for gaming until then. (I'm also moving to the UK for that from the US — I think I just have to buy a new PSU and ship it without destroying it but if there are other things I should consider let me know.)
Here's what I'm looking at:

Would love to hear any feedback you all have. Thanks!
P.S. I anticipate people may ask about the three hard drives — this is something that Adobe recommends for After Effects if you have the choice. One for OS/Apps, one for files, and one for just scratch disk. Scratch disk issues have been the absolute bane of my existence on my current (sad, old laptop) computer, so honestly, I will pay $82 for the peace of mind. Also, yes, untraditional peripherals but I use these for work as well and they are more comfortable for my hands/wrists.

Devices used for spying

Devices used for Spying:
VHF FM Transmitters:
micro-transmission systems in vhf band are often very useful. they are stable, but not crystal controlled, therefore the price is relative low. Most vhf spy microphones are adjustable by the customer, and include both the domestic band (88-108mhz), and up to 130mhz.. therefore, for low budget customers, it is an ideal deal, as they may use the domestic fm receivers.

Long Range Listening Devices UHF
We are often looking for a powerful audio surveillance transmitter, which can transmit the audio wireless, to a long distance remote receiver. We also ask for extended privacy, so our transmissions won't be received by someone in the neighborhood. The distance, audio clarity and the stability are the most important factors for any bugging undercover device. All our listening devices can offer most factors.
However, there are many cases where you need a much powerful listening device, for extended distance. The terrain has a huge influence on distance. For example using covert microphones at ground level, in crowded areas or nearby metallic objects (pipes, power-transformers or even cars) may not provide the best results. You need more power in these cases.

Long range powerful VOX UHF
VOX is an electronic switch that turns on devices, by sounds or voices, automatically. In this category you can find powerful listening devices, covert transmitters, that are activated as soon as they hear a voice. After a predetermined time, if there are no voices or other sound around them - they switch off, and remain in standby mode. When there is a sound near them (within 1-5 meters) - they turn on again.
This way, the batteries are preserved to a long time, as during sleep time or inactivity at home - they will not transmit. As well, there are less chances to detect such transmitters. During speaking time, there are no gaps between the transmissions.
We sell both digital and analogue VOX transmitters.

UHF Transmitters
The audio spying listening devices are designed for the serious professional who needs the best in audio surveillance. We use a component called "Quartz Crystal" qhich stabilizes the frequency. All of these bugs can be supplied several fixed frequencies, in the UHF band. Each bug has a specific frequency, therefore using one of our multi channel receivers you can monitor audio conversations transmitted from multiple spy micro transmitters from a remote location. The transmitters are very easy to use. As soon as they are connected to a power surce, they begin transmitting all audio information within the room to the distant receiver. The audio clarity is unbelievable and there is no signal drifting as with low cost devices. The UHF frequencies ensure that only you will receive the information.

UHF Receivers
UHF is the abbreviation of Ultra High Frequency. Usually, the UHF band that we use is between 400MHz to 500MHz. We manufacture 3 types UHF receivers, and they are different.
The first two receivers are adjusted to one channel, and each one can be used with just one listening device. Usually, they workd within the range of 433MHz and 418MHz.

It has 16 channels, and you may use several transmitters on different frequencies together, and they will not interfere:

How to Spy on Your Neighbors With a USB TV Tuner:
A TV-tuning USB dongle and free software let you hear the radio signals emitted by computer screens, TVs, smartphones -- even keyboards.
"Every device that you own is screaming its name into the infinite void," said security researcher Melissa Elliott this past Saturday (Aug. 3) at the DEF CON hacker conference in Las Vegas.
That "scream" is made up of the low-level radio transmissions each electronic device emits in the course of normal operations. The emissions vary according to device, power consumption and operations, with the result that sensitive antennae can "fingerprint" gadgets and activities accordingly.
Around 1970, the National Security Agency created the Tempest program to develop ways to spy on foreign communications using such accidental radio emissions.
A few years ago, French researchers showed that even individual keys being pecked on computer keyboards generated unique radio fingerprints.
Today, dirt-cheap technology and free software make it possible for ordinary citizens to run their own Tempest programs and listen to what their own — and their neighbors' — electronic devices are doing.
Elliott, a researcher at Boston-based security company Veracode, showed that an inexpensive USB dongle TV tuner costing about $10 can pick up a broad range of signals, which can be "tuned" and interpreted by software-defined radio (SDR) applications running on a laptop computer.
"I managed to go most of my life not knowing that my electronics were all leaking all of the signals that detail what they're getting up in their private little electronic lives," Elliott said.
But a visit to the U.S. National Radio Quiet Zone on the Virginia-West Virginia border, site of the world's largest moveable radio-astronomy telescope, taught Elliott otherwise.
"Their biggest challenge to getting the science done is the very electronics that they need to measure and process the signal, because those same electronics blast the signal out at the sky," Elliott said.
"They have a microwave oven, which is a Faraday cage" — a structure enclosed by a wire mesh to prevent electricity from getting in or out — "inside another Faraday cage, inside another room, which is also a Faraday cage," she recalled. "That is how much they had to shield things just so they could reheat their pizza at 2 a.m."
So Elliott found a website that sold USB tuners for $10, and found free software to tune and analyze the signals.
At DEF CON, she demonstrated how much radio noise electronic devices emit by using a netbook she bought for $50 on a trip to China.
"It has no shielding," Elliott said. "I'm pretty sure that this violates FCC from Rule 1 to the last. They'd have a conniption if they knew I imported it."
On another laptop, Elliott used her USB tuner and her software-defined radio application to dial into an FM radio station, and projected her output on the conference-hall screen. After a minute, she powered on her cheap Chinese netbook, which was a few feet away.
"Do you see all those little spikes that weren't there a minute ago?" she asked. "Those are between 32 and 33 kilohertz apart," she said, explaining that the signal came from the netbook's real-time clock running at a standard 32.768 kHz.
Further demonstrations showed that keyboard presses emitted different radio signals, as did changing screen colors and patterns, with a black-and-white checkerboard pattern even being somewhat visible on the radio-signal analysis screen.
"Can you recover the screen from this?" Elliott wondered. "I'm pretty sure you can. Unfortunately, my radio sample rate is not very high. But again, I have a $10 radio."
Elliott said an engineer co-worker told her that the cable from the netbook's video processor to its screen was emitting the signals — which explained why the signals stayed active even after the screen went to sleep.
It's not just screens that emit radio signals, Elliott said; keyboards, LED lights, wired and wireless microphones, computer memory and hard drives all put out signals.
"You can pick up everything to some extent," Elliott said as she projected a screen shot of a neat grid generated by RAM memory chips. She could also see that her iPhone was downloading data over Verizon's 3G network.
"Different types of devices can be profiled for their activity, and then after you know exactly what they do, you can detect them," Elliott said. "You can see them through walls. You can triangulate them in 3D space, almost like they're radio transmitters that you're carrying — because they are."
"It's trivial to distinguish when one of these machines is idle and when it's active," she added. "If you carefully study it, you can distinguish between different kinds of active states. An advanced adversary can probably very finely distinguish between active states."
Eliott noted that she was carrying a very specific assortment of gadgets around DEF CON: an iPhone 4S, a Nexus 7, a Nintendo 3DS and a MacBook Air.
"If someone knew exactly what my brand preferences are," she said, "they could pinpoint me in a crowd if they had all the equipment set up ahead of time."
"Even if I turn off WiFi and Bluetooth, this is still possible," Elliott explained. "You're still saying, 'My phone is here, my phone is definitely here.'"
"This is why the paranoid types are like, 'Don't just turn off the phone — take out the battery,'" Elliott said, implying that only then will a phone be completely radio silent. "So I'm gonna take out the battery on my — oh, wait, my iPhone doesn't have a removable battery."
"So what I can do is make like a shoplifter and get some booster bags," said Elliott, referring to plastic bags designed to block radio waves. "You can find them on the Internet labeled as 'cellphone blockers' or 'cellphone etiquette wrappers,' so your cellphone won't ring during dinner."
"If you need to have a completely private talk," Elliott said, "empty everyone's pockets and put everything in your microwave oven — do not run it — and close the door. It's not perfect, but it works pretty well."
Microwave ovens are designed to keep radio waves from getting out, and also keep radio waves from getting in.
Anyone can use these cheap USB tuners to pick up a lot of signals, Elliott said. "In the process, you will learn that there are trillions of devices broadcasting weird things in your neighborhood."
Elliott recommended USB dongles using the DVB-T specification with RTL2832U chipsets and Elonics E4000 tuners. The dongles are made for TV tuning in dozens of countries across Europe, Asia and Africa, and hence have a wide frequency range.
She ordered hers from China for $10 each, but entire user kits, complete with antennae and remote controls, can be found on U.S. retail websites for between $20 and $30.
Elliott recommended two free SDR applications to process and analyze the radio signals: for Windows, SDR# (pronounced "ess-dee-arr-sharp"), and for Mac and Linux, GQRX. Both can easily be downloaded online.
Elliott noted that for anyone feeling paranoid about such revelations, the NSA and its European counterparts have posted guidelines on how to avoid unintentional radio leakage.
"Their key takeaway is, 'correlated emissions are bad,'" Elliott said. "'Correlated emissions' means, 'it changes when something on the machine changes.' That leaks information. You don't want that."
"So ask your landlady about copper plating for your bedroom," she joked. "I'm sure it will go over really well."
Elliott closed with a funny story about how she tested her equipment by sitting under an LED-draped metallic tree in the Veracode offices.
She found that when the LEDs changed colors, the radio interference patterns also changed.
"Someone comes by and asks, 'What are you doing?'" Elliott recalled. She replied, "'I'm listening to the tree — and I can hear the colors.'"

A parabolic microphone:
Is a microphone that uses a parabolic reflector to collect and focus sound waves onto a transducer, in much the same way that a parabolic antenna (e.g. satellite dish) does with radio waves. Though they lack high fidelity, parabolic microphones have great sensitivity to sounds in one direction, along the axis of the dish, and can pick up distant sounds. Typical uses of this microphone include nature sound recording such as recording bird calls, field audio for sports broadcasting, and eavesdropping on conversations, for example in espionage and law enforcement. Parabolic microphones were used in many parts of the world as early as World War II, especially by the Japanese.

Car Trackers:
GPS Car Tracking Solutions These GPS car trackers are hard-wired units that are tucked away behind the dash and of course they have the benefit of drawing power from the vehicle battery. However, sometimes a more flexible vehicle tracking solution is required where several vehicles need to be monitored accurately at different times or where it is difficult to get a hard-wired GPS tracking device put in place because of alerting attention to the user or users of the vehicle(s) in question. This is where the micro car tracker comes into its own.
A covert car tracker used to be the preserve of Police services and security services. In years gone by they used to consist of a radio frequency transmitting beacon that was tied to the underneath of a vehicle and could only be tracked at relatively close range using a radio frequency receiver designed for the purpose. When GPS tracking came about, the technology was too weak to enable a device to be placed under a vehicle because the Antenna needed line of sight to update its current location. From 2006 onwards GPS advances meant that for the first time GPS tracking devices for cars could be placed on the underside of a vehicle.
GPS Vehicle Tracking The GPS trackers of 2006 were bulky and unsophisticated with very high power draw resulting in very short battery life. The latest generation of vehicle trackers are a world away from even those available in 2006. These days the GPS vehicle trackers are compact and packed with sophisticated power saving technology ensuring that they are up to the expectations of today discerning purchaser.

Are there compact keyboards with hammer action keys? Are they really necessary? Help please?

I'm a complete beginner with all things music, I just started music theory/piano lessons with a teacher I really like, but he said I need to practice with hammer action keys.
My problem is I don't really have the space for a keyboard more than about 40 inches wide, and I can't find any compact(<76 keys) keyboards with hammer action keys. My budget is also limited, but if I find something compact enough I'm willing to splurge on something up to $600ish. I would really prefer not to though, the $300-$450 range is ideal.
I'm going to talk to him about this more but I still have questions for you pianists:
  1. What are the smallest hammer action keyboards available, width-wise?
  2. What's your opinion on the necessity of an 88-key scaled hammer-action keyboard for a beginner whose main goal is learning music theory/being able to articulate themself musically? I don't have a particular interest in piano specifically, my teacher said it was the best way to become musically literate. To be clear I'm not disinterested and I'm really excited at the prospect of learning, I'm just saying my main goal isn't to become a pianist, it's more a medium to learn generally. I actually prefer singing and will be taking voice lessons soon as well.
  3. General advice is also appreciated!
Thanks!

Are there small hammer action keyboards?/Learning music theory through piano, do I really need hammer action keys? Help please?

I'm a beginner with music in general, I can't read notes yet and I don't even know what order they are on the piano. I just started music theory/piano lessons with a teacher I really like, but he said I need to practice with hammer action keys.

I really like the size and overall features of the Roland (GO-61K), it has velocity keys and settings for key sensitivity and I'm wondering if that's better than regular touch sensitive, as far as learning correct form? https://www.roland.com/us/products/gokeys_go-61k/

At the risk of coming off as bragging, I was told by him and music teachers early in school that I have a really good ear and a natural advantage, I've always gotten really nice comments about my voice too. Hopefully that's relevant information, I'm trying to add context bc I want opinions on the general situation from musicians.
  3. General advice is also appreciated!

Devices used for spying

Devices used for Spying:
VHF FM Transmitters:
micro-transmission systems in vhf band are often very useful. they are stable, but not crystal controlled, therefore the price is relative low. Most vhf spy microphones are adjustable by the customer, and include both the domestic band (88-108mhz), and up to 130mhz.. therefore, for low budget customers, it is an ideal deal, as they may use the domestic fm receivers.
https://www.petrutech.com/VHF-FM-Transmitters?pg=store
You need more power in these cases.
https://www.petrutech.com/Long-range-listening-devices-UHF?pg=store

The UHF frequencies ensure that only you will receive the information.
https://www.petrutech.com/UHF-Transmitters?pg=store
UHF Receivers
UHF is the abbreviation of Ultra High Frequency. Usually, the UHF band that we use is between 400MHz to 500MHz. We manufacture 3 types UHF receivers, and they are different.
The first two receivers are adjusted to one channel, and each one can be used with just one listening device. Usually, they workd within the range of 433MHz and 418MHz.

VHF Sets - TransmitteReceiver
Here you will find the world's most common professional micro-transmission systems in VHF band, kits of micro transmitters and VHF receivers, also including the domestic 88-108 MHz brodcasting.
We offer the complete spectrum of wireless listening devices using wireless electronic monitoring. You will find the most efficient and modern systems in the VHF transmission. No cheap Chinese devices with fictitious performance, but high-tech listening devices, equipped with the most modern semiconductors resulting in effective, professional results. The entire product line of the spying listening devices are adjustable by the user, resulting realistic technical parameters.

Phone Wiretaps
You can find in this chapter all the technical capabilities for surveillance of wiretapping telecommunications.
We offer you the necessary equipment for complete phone surveillance and . Whether it is analog or digital telephony, such as ADSL. Please contact us for telephone transmitters and control devices for the greatest extent telephone systems. Our offer also includes devices for recording telephone and telephone recording with extremely long runtimes. They are not suitable for multi-lines telephones or private exchanges (pbx), office type telephony.

Simply Piano

Simply Piano was rated as one of the best iPhone apps of 2016. Its slogan goes like “from beginner to pro, play piano like you’ve always wanted”. Indeed, it is an excellent tool for piano players at any level.

Piano Courses for Self-Learners

Currently, there are 25 courses for different music levels included in Simply Piano. You can take 2 courses for free before being required to subscribe.
With the piano courses, the easy-to-use piano app takes you through the basics step by step, from reading music to learning to play with both hands. Video tutorials, warm-ups, and exercises can be found throughout the whole learning process.
While you are learning, you can slow down the pace of the songs. In addition, the personalized 5-minute workouts are perfect for you to master the skills bit by bit.

Play Piano Songs of All Genres and Receive Instant Feedback

Are you a classical music lover or a huge fan of pop songs? No matter what kind of music you are into, you can always find your favorite piano songs in Simply Piano. The various categories can fit your taste for sure.
During your playing, Simply Piano works in tandem with your instrument. The app has the ability to register what you are playing, and gives you real-time feedback. Once the song is completed, there will be a pop-out showing the details of your performance.
Simply Piano even won a World Summit Award from the United Nations. It can truly make a difference in your path of piano practice. The app can be used on iOS and Android mobile devices.

Vehicle TrackersVehicle GPS trackers are commonly purchased from Spy Equipment UK for use in tracking company employees who are not working diligently, or who are committing criminal offences either against the company or using the company vehicles. Our GPS vehicle tracking devices are also used in for domestic purposes to resolve relationship issues using discretion. Whatever the need for a vehicle tracker, the latest Trackers offered by Spy Equipment UK are sure to provide the perfect solution. Contact us if you require any assistance when looking for your vehicle tracker.

Landline and mobile spy devices:
Undetectable Spy Landline Solutions In this category you will find that we finally achieved our ambition by being able to offer landline recording solutions that are not only totally covert, but are also incredibly sophisticated. If this wasn’t enough, these call recording solutions are so discrete that they cannot be detected by RF scanning devices and are pretty much undetectable to even the most sophisticated Non-Linear Junction Detectors!
So, if you are serious about completely discreet landline phone call monitoring, then you have stumbled upon the right solutions.
Recording of landline calls maybe necessary for protecting your integrity or for recording nuisance calls for evidential purposes. Obviously using a telephone recorder in this way should be on your own phone in your own property.
